Summary of protocol
A camera and tripod will be attached to the end of a pole which will be held up to take pictures of a dendrometer installed above normal reach. The camera will be connected to a smartphone over Wifi/Bluetooth so that the camera display can be seen on the phone, and photos can be taken remotely. The images will be used to create a 3D digital reconstruction from which various measurements can be taken, including of the dendrometer window.
